Do I need an internet connection?
No. Every workout and meal logs fully offline. Your sets, reps, and macros sync to the cloud automatically the next time you’re online so nothing is lost between the gym and your kitchen.
Is Rep Log available on Android?
Not yet. Rep Log is a native iOS app built for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Android is on the roadmap but has no committed date — we’d rather ship one platform excellently than two platforms halfway.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel from your Apple ID subscription settings in one tap. You keep Pro features until the end of the billing period, and all your workout history stays intact even if you downgrade to Free.
How accurate is the AI meal scan?
The scanner gets you close in seconds by identifying foods and estimating portions from the photo. Every result is fully editable before you log — tune grams, swap items, or adjust macros in one tap. Think of it as a fast first draft, not a replacement for a food scale.
Does it sync with Apple Health?
Yes. Rep Log reads steps, active calories, resting calories, and body weight from Apple Health via Shortcuts, and writes workouts back so your Move ring fills up and your trainer-tracked metrics stay in one place.
Is my data private?
Your workouts and meals belong to you. We never sell data, we never show ads, and every row in our database is gated behind per-user security rules so no one but you — not even us — reads your logs. Export anything to CSV anytime from the Pro plan.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
Free forever covers everything you need to log sets, meals, and a weekly program — no time limit, no credit card. Pro adds the AI coach, meal scan, and advanced analytics; you can try it for 7 days free and cancel before renewal if it’s not for you.
What makes Rep Log different from other fitness apps?
One app for training and nutrition, built around a coach that actually reads your data. No spreadsheets, no separate macro tracker, no paywall on the basics. Everything — the widgets, the watch face, the AI — is designed so you spend less time in the app and more time lifting.
How big is the exercise library?
Over 200 curated exercises across every major muscle group, with tempo cues, technical notes, and sensible defaults. You can also add your own — customs behave exactly like built-ins in programs and analytics.
